I’m Michelle Dellene and I am an empty nest wife, homemaker and mother of three young adult children who have (mostly) all “grown and flown” the nest (woohoo!). I live in beautiful SE Idaho with my handsome, rugged husband of 25 + years.
I blog about a lot of stuff here, from antiquing to cooking to backyard farming and landscaping to heirloom teddy bear making and DIY projects because that’s what we are doing the most of in our modest little empty nest at the moment.
It really took a beating raising three teenagers but hey, so did we!
This blog was also rapidly becoming a resource for fellow sufferers of mast cell disease or, more specifically, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome but I now blog exclusively about it over at my new space dedicated solely to mast cell disease posts; MastCellDisease.com. It’s a weird, rare immunological disease and you’ve probably never heard of it but I have it so you can learn all about my exciting mast cell adventures here or there. Honestly, it really is fascinating!!
Speaking of adventure, we live at the foothills of the Grand Teton mountain range and Yellowstone park is our ‘backyard’:
As you can see, we don’t have to go far to be in absolute heaven so I like to post some of our amateur photography here to share the beauty of our little corner of the globe with anyone else who appreciates it as much as we do. I encourage everyone to visit at least once in their life, it really is heavenly!!
Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
